I joined the Interfaith Service for Tsunami Victims sponsored by Muslim New Yorkers for Tsunami Remembrance and Relief at Riverside Church in New York. It was a day to stand together with those whose are dealing with this unimaginable disaster, and to formulate a response with the help of all faith traditions. New Yorkers of every ethnicity and faith joined religious leaders and public officials, including Manhattan Borough President Virginia Fields, a long time supporter of OI America, in an interfaith memorial service and fundraiser for those who have been directly affected by the Tsunami in Asia and Africa.
