Service to Humanity and Development of Positive Self-Esteem

Learning to serve is an important feature of our program, and all students will be expected to contribute in some way to the greater good of the community. Orphans International programming will be dedicated to the development of service as well as intellectual curiosity, artistic achievement, and love of ideas. Orphaned children need to develop a strong sense of self-esteem to become well-adjusted and thus capable of playing an active role in world society. Orphans International will likewise strive to build the self-esteem of students, orphans, staff and visitors, teaching how to learn and recognize each other’s humanity and not merely memorizing historical and statistical data.
